Children forgot about hide-and-seek. Nowadays, they want smartphones and tablets I remember when I was a child, we used to play hide-and-seek, spin-tops, mini-cars, Power Ranger and Saint Seiya dolls, hopscotch, marbles, jump rope, jack straws, etc. And one very important thing: we used to read comics. Reading Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse, Zé Carioca (the brazilian parrot created by Walt Disney), and many other comics just made me create a collection of those comics and start having the capacity of organizing those things that were mine. But nowadays I look at children and they are playing in tablets and smartphones. Well, that's quite some difference. I don't really know how to make an evaluation on that, because technology has its qualities - these children are learning to be intelligent and perspicacious since childhood - but could that that be considered a healthy or happy childhood? I think one important thing for the parents to take care would be a conciliation between reading and those gadgets. Chidren could grow completely stupid if they are too exposed to television, internet and other gadgets. That's my point of view. The traditional games should be remembered and children's books and comics should be priority instead of tablets and smartphones.

Children forgot about hide-and-seek. Nowadays, they want smartphones and tablets.

Reading Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse, Zé Carioca (the Brazilian parrot created by Walt Disney), and many other comics just made me create a collection of those comics and start having to develop the capacity of to organize those things that were mine.
But nowadays I look at children and they are playing in on tablets and smartphones. Well, that's quite some difference. I don't really know how to make an evaluation on of that, because technology has its qualities - these children are learning to be intelligent and perspicacious since from childhood - but could that that be considered a healthy or happy childhood?
