Abstract This paper is based on the movie Windtalkers directed and produced by John Woo. It takes place during the World War II, specifically during the Battle of Saipan in 1944. The paper exposes the moral and ethical issues reflected throughout the film and criticizes in some way its development. Through the analysis of the scenes in which Navajo Code fulfills the mission of the US military over Japanese, we shall understand the essence and responsibility involved in a mission of a soldier and a code talker under a political and historical vision.
