Is it usual in your country to share the a room with someone? I live by myself. But I want to cut down on my house rent. Then, I'm thinking about living with someone. It is often heard that people share their room or house and live together in foreign countries. So is there anyone sharing your room with someone? And how is your life? How did you find your roommate? I'd like to hear more about that. Thank you

In America house sharing is very common. I live in a house that is split into two houses. Myself, my boyfriend, and our friend who is also our roomate all have our own rooms but we share communal space like the bathroom and the kitchen. We have an upstairs, a ground floor, and a basement. There is another family living in the other "house" that is in our building. So many people sharing one building really helps make it more affordable. Even though there are so many people in this one building it is still big enough for everyone to have their own space and privacy. This is normal in America.

In Athens Greece you never house-share. In London it is the opposite. In London most people house-share. You are asking for something even harder. Room-share. My advice is unless you are desperate for money (your mom or your sister needs money for medicine for example) do not under any conditions room-share.
