Story (FCE practise) It ws not easy, but Carol knew she had to do it, otherwise she wouldn't achieve her goal of becoming a singer. All her life Carol had been compousing and singing her own music but nobody was able to heard her voice because she hadn't told anybody how much she loved to sing. Her voice was her big secret. It was an ordinary summer day when thing changed. 'Song contest in the city. try our how good your voice is! The winner will take part on an international musical!'. The annoucements were on every stablishment on the city and it was her opportunity to be heard at last. A few days later Carol had written her name on the application she had the audition with the jury, and some public was there too! She could hardly breathe, the light was blinding her and it was easy to hear the people on the grandstand's laugh when the music started to play but the singer's voice didn't. It was her first time being heard and she couldn't even sing. Carol was just about starting panic when it was a blackout. Her voice started to rise into the darkness. There was no instrumental on the background, just Carol singing. The light came back after a while and everyone there could see this girl singing like an angel. After a couple of days the winner wasn't revealed. Now Carol is a famous musical singer.
