Networking skills - part one My networking can be shortly defined as diverse. Also, it is not only limited to my professional environment, a fact that, personally, I consider very satisfying. When I was at school, one of my teachers asked me if I would like to work at his wife`s job as an apprenticeship. At that time, he told me he had thought of me because the company was looking for a young and responsible person. How I was looking for a part-time job, I took up the job offer and I initiated my two-year journey at x. There I worked for the marketing department, and I kept in touch with designers, public relations, lawyers and journalists. It was at x that I received moral and financial incentive to keep focused on my studies. For this reason, I consider the initial help offered by my teacher my first and perhaps the most important networking.
