When you discover that is better to be alone than in a bad relationship

I don't know anyting about love, but I'm so confused...

I had never been single. I seem to always need a person near me, who take care of me and pay me some attention. As a consequence, since I was 15, I have been in a very complicated relationship.

I have never been single, and therefore this novel situation is very dificult for me. A lot of my friends told me that I should to learn to live alone, independently, because in life I could never truly rely on another person. They said that it is a self-esteem problem.

What do you think about love? Do you have any advice for me? Have you ever feel the same as me?

You sound like you just had a bad break up. I think should learn to happy by yourself rather than depending on others to be happy. That being said, i have always believed that love comes naturally and we shouldnt try to actively search for it. Hope this helps!
