COCKTAIL

I've heard of these, I've never gone, though, you'll have to write about if this is a good opportunity to practice English!

COCKTAIL

A few days ago, I found some venues where you can meet people from other countries and you may have a good time drinking enjoy different types of mojito while speaking foreign languages. I've decided that I'll go to one of these sometime.

"Locals" is a very vague word here. It typically means "local people", not "local venues". When we use "local" to mean a pub, it's usually in the singular sense: the local / my local.

The language meetups are good fun! I went to one in Moscow several times.

That sounds like fun...being slightly tipsy could be an advantage when trying to communicate without inhibitions! Ciao, and 'salute!' ))
