Ciao Alessandra. Quando un' azione è stata programmata si usa il present continuous e non il present simple. Nel tuo caso hai programmato di andare in palestra, pertanto dovrai usare la forma in ing

present continuous: soggetto + verbo to be + verbo nella forma ing

present simple: soggetto + verbo + complemento oggetto

 

Today at 5.00 p.m I am going to the gym (corretto)

Today at 5.00 p.m I go to the gym (sbagliato)

 

Il present simple si usa per azioni abituali come nel tuo caso allenarsi tutti i giorni, o seguire una dieta healthy (perchè è una routine). Quando invece ti riferisci ad un' azione temporanea si usa il present continuous.

I follow a high protein  but healthy diet.
Today at 5.00 p.m I am going  to  the gym. It  will be hard ... but I'm ready !!!!

 

Good for you.I try to go to the gym 3 times a week but I am so lazy...
