My eyes Today I got up early because I had to go to the clinic. I arrived around 9:30 so paid for consulting, speciality of ophtalmology. I waited for a long time, after an hour I was attended but only for a few minutes as a preview exam. Then I was waiting for two hours more, so boring. Finally I talked to the doctor who checked my exams, The exams were three: visual field, cornea exam and the third I don't remember its name. All the exams are to find out if I am suitable for laser operation, but i don't know the answet yet, as i need a one more exam. I've just realise that I used the word "exams" instead of "test", I think this second is right one.

All of the tests are to find out if I am suitable for a laser operation. I don't know the answer yet as I need a one more exam.

I waited for a long time and after an hour I was attended to but only for a few minutes and was given a preliminary exam. Then I waited for two hours more. So boring. Finally I talked to the doctor who checked my exams, The exams were three: visual field, corneal exam and a third whose name I don't remember.
All the exams are to find out if I am suitable for a laser operation, but i don't know the answer yet, as I need one more exam.

I've just realised that I used the word "exams" instead of "tests". I think this second is right. You were right the first time. In your medical context, 'examinations', or 'exams' are better.

*or, paid to consult an opthamologist.

Good! :)
"Exam" and "test" mean the same thing, so you can use either one.
