Trabaho Nagsabi si Cardinal Tagle: Mga tao ayaw nang magpahinga ngayon, kasi kailangan niya maraming pera at kaya trabaho. "Sambahin niya ang suweldo" sabi niya. Mayroon niya ang regular dayjob, pero kailangan niya overtime din. Ginagawa niya Diyos ang trabaho.

The 2 common verb forms for “sabi” are “sinabi” and “magsabi”. “Sinabi” is the one almost always used to mean “to say/tell” because “magsabi” usually connotes a sense of notifying or asking permission or leaving word. Hence, “nagsabi si Cardinal Tagle” would mean “Cardinal Tagle left word (that…)”.

Ang sabi/sinabi ni Cardinal Tagle: = What Cardinal Tagle said:

Sabi/Sinabi ni Cardinal Tagle: = Cardinal Tagle said:

We actually use "sabi" a lot more often than "sinabi".

Ang mga tao ay ayaw nang magpahinga ngayon,... - Since “mga tao” is the subject, it should be preceded by “ang”. Also, something has to be between “tao” and “ayaw”. You may place either an “ay” or a comma in there.

… kasi kailangan nila ng maraming pera... - Your subject is plural (mga tao), the pronoun should therefore be “nila” (they) and not niya (him/her/it). You also need the “ng” to link the “need” to “what they needed”.

For the following, I am using the plural forms of the personal pronouns in keeping with the previous subject. However, you may use their singular forms – siya/niya, siyang/niyang – should that really be your intent.

… pera kaya sila nagtatrabaho. = … money that's why they work/are working. - You don't need the “at” between "pera" and "kaya". “Kaya trabaho” translates to “that's why work” - “Walang ginagawa si John kaya trabaho ang kailangan niya” = John's doing nothing that's why work is what he needs.

Sinasamba nila ang suweldo”, sabi niya = “They worship/are worshiping the salary”, he said. - “Sambahin” is the infinitive/imperative form of the verb.

Mayroon silang regular na dayjob/trabaho sa araw, pero kailangan nila ng overtime din = They have a regular dayjob, but they also need overtime.

Mayroon na silang regular na dayjob/trabaho sa araw, pero kailangan pa rin nila ng overtime. = They already have a regular dayjob, but they still need overtime.

Ginagawa nilang Diyos ang trabaho.

Trabaho
Sabi ni Cardinal Tagle:
Ang mga tao ay ayaw nang magpahinga. Kasi kailangan nila ng maraming pera kaya nagtatrabaho. "Sinasamba nila ang suweldo" sabi niya. Mayroon silang regular dayjob, pero kailangan din nila ng overtime. Ginagawa nilang Diyos ang trabaho.

"Niya" est pour une personne seulment.

Vous pouvez utiliser "Nila" pour deux personnes et plus. :)
