- His hand were covered in oil because he had been tried trying to fix his car all morning. Unfortunately, he managed hadn't managed to make it start.
- When she opened the window she was happy to see it was snowing lightly. In fact, it had been snowing all night and snow covered all the rooftops. -perfect
- When Mrs Morgan came into the classroom, the pupils were running around and screaming at the top of their voices. -perfect
