First notebook entry: Introducing myself

Hello,

My name is Bill. I am interested in learning the Chinese language, more specifically Mandarin. The reasons why are plentiful, though it is primarily a self motivated pursuit to expand my vocabularly on a global scale.

I am reasonably well versed in english, and could benefit someone in their strive to achieve a better understanding of the english language.
