There is\there are Hello, everyone. I want to say that people distinguish two categories of something, or that a few types of somehing exist. Which phrase would be better for this purpose? It seems for me that I should use "there are". For example: There are two types of people: introverts and extraverts. There are three big monotheistic religions. Am I right? Thanks for your help.
