Describing my favourite room. I am going to tell about my dear living room. I have been living at home with my husband and my children for 11 years and we have stayed here without living room for a long time. That's why I was unclear how to do it until two years ago. It's a spacious room and it has three distinct parts: one of them to watch movies and listen to music, other to read and study and the last one is as a small office. Three of the walls are painted in dark beige, whereas the another one is decored with flowered wallpaper. In the area dedicated to watch movies and to listen to music there is a big TV, the latest generation of video consoles, where my son and my husband spend a lot of time playing, and the most exclusive music systems. In front of them there is a comfortable and luxurious couch and above of it there is a cinema projector hanging from the ceiling. Although that area is usually very noiseless, sometimes, it becomes the most impossible place when my husband was listening to music. In the area dedicated to read and study there is a large, old and wooden table that is a relic of my husband's grandparents. There is a off-white and English library behind of the table. Inside of it, there are lots of book-collections about health, geography, storybooks and some ones about ancient Egypt and other cultures. That's why my husband and I enjoy reading that kind of books. In the area dedicated to small office there are some computers and a multifunctional printer on a large and glass desk. I love it because I think it's a special room since / because of its interior is customized by each members of my family.

Very good Maryne! My corrections are in red and my suggestions to sound more natural are in blue/grey.

"I have been living at home for 11 years" - Have is OK here because you are still living at home.

"and we have had stayed here without a living room for a long time" - As you are no longer without a living room, this is a completed action in the past.

*Since/Because - Either is OK in the context of your sentence.

it's a special room since its interior is customized by...
