I had an English class this afternoon. I understood what the teacher was saying, but just don't know how to respond. We are talking about Las Vegas. I really don't know how to describe this city. Which word should I use?

In addition to what Parm said, Las Vegas is in the SouthWest United States, it is in the desert, and it is very hot most of the year. It has a lot of expensive hotels and casinos, and it is a very fast-growing city.

Las Vegas is a city of splendor and a hub for gamblers across the world, so much so that it has been dubbed the city of sin by some. The city is home to some of the most extravagent hotels and casinos alongside breathtaking landmarks.
