1.今の世代の若者を非難している年上の世代は夏季アルバイトのみで大学生活を賄えた時代に生きていた。

   I think this is 99.9% perfect, but check out the followings for 0.1% :)

    ①"今の世代” and "若者" are basically the same meaning, so you don't have to say either.

    ②Japanese doesn't have a exactly equivalent word for "summer job", so I think you can just say "アルバイト" since some old people used to pay tuition through with "アルバイト"

2.ミレニアル世代はが大学に行ったとき行くと、「アルバイトで学費を払うのは不可能です。卒業していい仕事を見つけるのも不可能です」のが意識したということに気付くのです。
