South Park for learning English I've started watching South park recently. I've got to say that is absolutely trash! When you learn English, it might seem arduous to understand because the characters speak quite fast. A lot of slang is used and some voices are sketchy so it makes it harder to understand properly. Although, this is enjoyable because they talk about basic topics and they speak like young people. My daughter watches Daniel the tiger, and she begins to appreciate it because now she is able to understand lots of things (she's 2 years old). Yesteraday, I wrote a post about the movie "Terminator". I started to watch the first 35 minutes and I must say that I wasn't lost at all and I understood around 90% of the dialogues. It surely due to my progression with the software "Anki". I've been using it for 3 weeks and I've learned a bunch of new words in their context. Now I have to diversify my vocabulary when I speak or write English. When I struggle with a phrase, I repeat 3 or 4 times out loud and I'm able to pronounce it correctly The day after, my brain has retained the information inconsciently so the phrase with wich a struggled is mastered. By the way, don't forget to correct my previous 2 posts guys !

If you learn English from South Park, then your English would be of an uneducated child. The program is meant for entertainment. Speak like a whore and soon you will be acting like one! Watch "My Fair Lady" instead :)
