Introduction
Hi there!
I'm Francesca. I'm a 24 years old Italian girl who's trying her best to learn and improve her English skills. I've studied it in high school but, like most south European students, I've had awful English teachers. She was an Italian woman with a terrible English accent and arguable competences who didn't really teach me anything useful. So what I've learned so far comes from American tv shows, and movies, and books or songs. I'm an huge fan of American pop culture, I'm trying to learn English for my own fun and pleasure, because I just love it, the American English especially.
A little bit about myself: as I said, I'm 24, I was born in a small country in the "heel" of Italy but I moved to Perugia (centre of Italy) when I was 18. I'm currently a med student in her senior year.
I think Friends is the most beautiful tv show ever, I love tennis and travels and I could fall in love with an American guy just hearing him speaking his native tongue. I've got an huge crush on American accents.
I love making international friends as well, so please feel free to contact me if you want to chat, I'd love to do it on my spare time.
And of course please correct my mistakes: as an autodidact I definitely need your help.
Thank you for your attention!
Francesca
[Very good. You say you were born in a country in the heel of Italy, but I think instead of 'country' your mean what we might refer to as a 'state' in the U.S.]
