When you would say "чувствовать себя" in Russian, say "feel" in English.  Do not translate "себя".

Incorrect:  "I want to travel more and feel myself more confident when I talk to other people who speak English.

Correct:   "I want to travel more and feel more confident when I talk to other people who speak English."
