The Yiddish Cursive Alphabet When learning Yiddish, you need to learn two alphabets: -You need to learn the Hebrew alphabet. -And you need to learn the Yiddish cursive alphabet. They're almost completely different, but what makes it easier to remember are the similarities that are evident between Yiddish cursive and the Arabic alphabet. Especially between "hey" in Yiddish and "ha" in Arabic. Also, to my surprise, the Yiddish cursive and Hebrew cursive scripts are very different from one another.
