What is going on in this world. (note; I had to select 'Dutch' as it was the only option. Obviously this text is written in English...) Yes, we are living in decisive times, very interesting for the future of humanity, but unfortunately humanity will suffer a lot of losses. As you might have noticed, we are at the start of WW3, and things are about to get to the next level. The proxy wars in the Middle-East will escalate into a global war, and the question is not 'what can we do to prevent this?', but 'where will it be safe?'. I think I know the answer, but just like always, very little people have confidence in predictions, as they like to ignore the current state of the world and keep on focussing on their country, or region, or their little bubble as I like to call it. People usually just don't care about what might happen to others who are far away and not in their personal circle. This has got to change, and that is why things will increasingly get serious and will come to our front door so we cannot deny it any longer. While I am writing this, events are unfolding and going into that direction that most of us don't dare to think about. This morning, Turkey, an ally of the USA in the Syria campaign, has brought down a Russian jet-fighter. A NATO meeting is going to be organised in Brussels, which is supposed to be the capital of the weakest link in the war on terror... This doesn't predict much good I think. First off, I don't understand why they would hold a meeting in a city that is under lock-down (subways are out of service, many shops are closed, schools and universities are closed, ...) and is supposed to be holding a lot of possible terrorists. Are they trying to arrange an assault on NATO-officials? Is this the next move? Make the next victims politically, so an involvement of NATO is justified in the war on terror? Is this the big plan? We will find out soon enough.

I think the reason that people have little faith in predictions is that most predictions don't come true. If they did, the world would have ended a hundred times already. Which doesn't mean your particular prediction isn't correct of course, but many wrong ones have come before, people lost interest.
