IELTS WRITING The table blew illustrates the different percentage of consuming various items among five countries, Ireland, Italy, Spain,Sweden and Turkey, in 2002. As can be seen, the table clarified diverse items as three categories: one included food, drinks and tobacco, another had clothing and footwear, leisure and education belonged to the third category.For the cost of food, drinks and tobacco, Turkey spent most on it, making up 32.14% of its national consumer expenditure. It was followed by Ireland , Spain, Italy, with 28.9%,18.8% and 16.36% respectively. Sweden had the smallest proportion at 15.77%. And it cost Italy the most to consume clothing and footwear, which was 9%. Sweden still were the country which purchased the lest for the cost of it and only had 5.4%. The other three countries had a similar percentage around 6.5%. As to the spending on leisure and education, compared with 1.98% in Spain, there were 4.35% of total national cost which was the largest proportion among these countries in Turkey. In conclusion, for the five countries, the expenditure of food, drinks and tobacco accounted for the most significant position among these three categories as well as the smallest consumption appeared in the area of leisure and education.

As can be seen, the table clarified (separates, divides, differentiates) diverse items as into three categories: one (the first) included food, drinks and tobacco, another (the second) had clothing and footwear, and the third leisure and education. belonged to the third category. For the cost of food, drinks and tobacco, Turkey spent the most most on it, making up 32.14% of its national consumer expenditure. It was followed by Ireland, Spain, and Italy with 28.9%,18.8% and 16.36% respectively. Sweden had the smallest proportion at 15.77%. And It cost Italy the most to consume Italy had the greatest consumer expenditure on clothing and footwear, which was 9%. Sweden still again were was the country which purchased the least for the cost of it and with the lowest expenditure only had at 5.4%. The other three countries had a similar percentage around 6.5%. As to for the spending on leisure and education, compared with 1.98% in Spain, there were 4.35% of total national cost which was the largest proportion among these countries in Turkey. Turkey had the greatest proportion of national expenditure at 4.35%, compared to the lowest in Spain at 1.98%.

In conclusion, for the five countries, the expenditure of food, drinks and tobacco accounted for the most significant position among these three categories, as well as whilst the smallest consumption appeared was in the area of leisure and education.
