Dzień Dobry! Cześć! Nazywam się Scott Watters. Jestem z Anglii. Uczyć się Polskiego. Tylko trochę mówię po polsku. Nauczycielem nazywa się Norbert. (I'm almost certain that last sentence is incorrect. I want to say "My teacher's name is Norbert.) Ale dzisiaj okropna pogoda! Jest bardzo zimno. Jestem zmęnczony i chory. Przepraszam! Ale coś pilnego mi wypadło. Muszę juź iść! ____________________________ Man alive, what a tough language. I've been slacking a bit on my practice recently, so I need to get back into this. I know that what I'm writing probably doesn't make all that much sense, but one has to start somewhere right? Dziękuję bardzo for any corrections, much appreciated. :)

Dzień Dobry!

Cześć! Nazywam się Scott Watters. Jestem z Anglii. Uczę się Polskiego. Mówię po polsku tylko trochę. Mój nauczyciel nazywa się Norbert. (I'm almost certain that last sentence is incorrect. I want to say "My teacher's name is Norbert.)

Ale dzisiaj okropna pogoda! Jest bardzo zimno. Jestem zmęnczony i chory.

Przepraszam, ale coś pilnego mi wypadło. Muszę juź iść!

Dobra robota!

You're not as bad as you might think. Your entry was totally understandable.

I'm up for a language exchange if you're looking for partners.

Cheers!

(1) the word order here is not that bad but the one suggested in the previous correction (<em>Mówię po polsku tylko trochę</em>) is better. This one is also better: <em>Mówię tylko trochę po polsku</em>.

(2) for many Poles the sentence "Nazywam się [first name]" would sound okay, but if we want to be precise and 100% correct, after you use the verb "nazywać się" you will want to use your surname or your first name and surname combined. If you present someone only with their first name it is better to use "mieć na imię". So your sentence should be:

<em>Mój nauczyciel ma na imię Norbert.</em>

<em>
</em>

Good examples for "nazywać się":

<em>Nazywam się Scott Watters</em> (because you've used your first name and surname together here).

or: <em>Nazywam się Watters. Scott Watters.</em>

(3) the word order here is okay, but this would sound better: <em>Przepraszam, ale wypadło mi coś pilnego.</em>

Hey, well done! Good luck with Polish! :)
