THE COOKING COURSE!
REPORT ON THE COOKING COURSE
Introduction
I have completed a survival cooking course at Loyola’s institute. This cooking course lasted one month and a half and it was aimed to complete at introducing beginners on to the cookery world. The main objective was to learn how to prepare main dishes and desserts by the end of the course.
My experience
I have to say that, on the whole, my experience was very satisfying due to the fact that I found the course incredibly useful. as To be honest, I felt a little clueless at the very beginning because I had never hold a wooden spoon before the first class, however, after the whole process me and my colleagues and I learnt how to prepare simple meals with basic ingredients, how to select the best foot food at the grocery store, how to properly use the knifes knives, spoons, and other kind of cookery tools involved.
Teachers and their instruction methods
In my opinion, this course was worthwhile due to the thoughtful and qualified teachers we had. They were always willing to assist us if we did not understand some parts of the lesson. This way, students felt encouraged to relax, experiment and develop their cookery skills. Moreover, their speech at the beginning of each class was very clear and easy to put into practice.
How to improve it or change it.
If I were the principal and could modified modify this course somehow, I would have given more time to it--perhaps, 2 months--because we have hardly seen got to see many of the sweet desserts that were included in the course curriculum.
Conclusion:
I would wholeheartedly recommend this course to all my friends, particularly to those that are my age and do not have the slightest idea on about how to cook simple dishes at home.
[Very good!]
