Beef Bowl in Tokyo

Each person will enter/enters/goes in to a beef bowl shop alone to eat beef bowl. They He sits at/in a counter table. It is narrow, and they will eat it in silence/silently. They (will) finish eating it quickly/rapidly and leave there in no time.
I was very surprised to see this scenery in Tokyo for the first time.
I could not believe that people would enter alone and eat food without any conversation.
I felt that it could was not be sociable/humanism. However, now I have become/got accustomed to it. I occasionally go/enter alone….haha.
