Felicia, I have had great success with the AZFA persian language teaching books. You can find them on Amazon and if you search online you can find free videos with audio going over the books. There are five books that range from beginner to advanced in the Tehrani accent. Though if you want to learn the alphabet, www.easypersian.com is pretty much all I used to learn it. It's a very good site for the alphabet (though the other lessons are a little too grammar-translation-heavy for my tastes)
