A doctor described the knight poultices and a diet to the lady. The both were feeling better when a doctor from Europe came. He announced that nobody mustn't be treated by muslims. He sent the Syrian doctor away. Then he put the knight's leg on a log and ordered to hit it by axe. After the second blow his bone succambed, the bone marrow flew out and the patient died. As to the woman, he said that a devil got into her head, so, he ordered to shave her head and made a cross with a knife on it, tore her skin out and ordered to put salt into the wound. Врач прибыл, прописал рыцарю припарки, а даме – диету. Оба пошли на поправку, но тут из Европы явилось медицинское светило, которое заявило, что не следует отдавать лечение в руки мусульман. Он прогнал сирийского врача. Потом положил ногу рыцаря на бревно и велел ударить по ней топором. Со второго раза кость поддалась, мозг из нее вытек и больной умер. О женщине же он сказал, что в голову к ней вселился дьявол, а потому велел ее обрить, сделал на голове крестообразный надрез, сорвал кожу, обнажив черепные кости, и сказал втирать в рану соль.
