[아니면 '놀랐어'?] 잠시 후에 우리 아빠는 당구대를 발견했어. 그래서 우리는 당구도 쳤어. 아빠는 당구를 치는 지 오래되서 잘 못 하지만 아빠는 우리보다 더 좋았어. 우리가 당구를 두 게임 친 후에 모두는 고모할머니하고 고모부에게 생일이 축하합니다를 불렀어. 근데 생일 노래를 부르고 케익을 자르기 전에 우리는 저녁 식사로 멕시칸 음식을 먹었어. 나는 정말 맛있는 부리토를 먹었어. 사람은 떠나기 시작할 때는 우리는 집에 갔어. 대체로 아주 재미있었어. [영어 옮김: Yesterday me and my whole family went to my great aunt's birthday party. Since/because my great aunt turned 100 this party was important so a lot of people came. The party was also for my uncle too. My uncle turned 40. At first it was a little uncomfortable. The people who were mostly there was my uncle's friends and I didn't know them. But later was more fun. Me and my younger/little sister found a fooseball table and once we told out dad and older sister we played fooseball. After a while dad found a pool table. So we played pool too. Dad hasn't played pool in a long time so he didn't do well, but he was better than us. After we played 2 games of pool everyone sang happy birthday to our great aunt and uncle. But before we sang the birthday song and cut the cake we ate Mexican food as dinner. I ate a really delicious burrito. When people started to leave we went home. All in all it was very fun.]

고모할머니의 생일 파티 (It's truly impressive that you know the word "고모할머니"! I mean, when I read this word just now, even I was not exactly sure if I know who's my 고모할머니)

어제 나와 내 가족 모두는 우리 고모할머니의 생일 파티에 갔어.

--> 어제는 우리 가족 모두 고모할머니 생일(생신?) 파티에 갔어.

Koreans have a strict communitarian culture, so it affected their language. When you refer to some groups that you are involved in, like your family, Koreans often say simply 우리 rather than 내/나의.

Actually 생일 파티 sounds better than 생신 파티 but some Koreans might say it would be inappropriate to say '생일' for the birthdays of your elders. So it's your choice. :)

우리 고모할머니는 100대 되기 때문에 이 생일이 정말 중요해서 많은 사람은 왔어.

--> 이날은 우리 고모할머니는 100세가 되시는 생일이라 정말 중요해서 많은 사람들이 왔어.

Maybe you already know that the 'be-verb' in Korean could be "이/가" or "은/는". The former is more common, while the latter is used for emphasis on the subject. Well, this is sometimes tough even for Koreans. So keep it up! You are doing great :D

It's ok to use 그/그녀/그들 like he/she/they but sometimes it sounds a little unnatural and too contrived.
