How to say this in spanish? I started to feel bad on monday. I feel hot, and I have a fever. I had a headache, and a cough. (use the verb dolor). I went to the doctor. the doctor took my temperature. He said I had a cold. He gave me medicine for my cough. I took medicine, and had a lot of sleep to get better(Use imperfect verb in this sentence if possible.) So I am having problems knowing when to use the preterite and imperfect tenses. of course sentences above like "fui a el doctor." are much more simple. thank in advance guys!

Here's how I would translate it: Empecé a sentirme mal el lunes. Tengo calor y también una fiebre. Tuve un dolor de cabeza y también tenía toz. Fui al doctor y allí me tomó la temperatura. Me dijo que tenía la gripe (o estaba resfriada). Me dio medicine para la toz. Tomé la medicina y dormí mucho para recuperarme. The passage it written in the past except for that second sentence, which is written in the present. Did you mean to write it like this? If you didn't then the second sentence would be "Tenía calor y también una fiebre." Hope this helps!:)

Something like this: Empecé a sentirme mal el Lunes. Mi temperatura es alta (<This can't be translated literally) y tengo fiebre. Tuve dolor de cabeza y tos. (Also dolor isn't a verb, "doler" is.) Fui al doctor. Él dijo que tenía un resfriado. Me dio medicina para la tos. Me tomé la medicina y dormí mucho para recuperarme. Saludos. :)
