Last night, I had a dream about my cat. 
어젯밤, 제 고양이에 관한 꿈을 꾸었어요. 
I was happy to see it. 
저는 고양이를 보게 돼서 반가웠어요. 
My cat looked the same as before except half of its body had been messily shaved. 
고양이는 전과 동일해 보였고, 다만 털이 반쪽만 지저분하게 깎여 있었어요. 
I called its name, 
꿈에서 전 고양이 이름을 불렀고 
and it also recognized me. 
고양이도 저를 알아봤어요. 
Then, I opened my eyes and it was morning. 
그러고 아침에 잠에서 깼어요. 
I was reminded of my cat in front of a pet shop yesterday. So, it seems I dreamed about it. 
어제 애완용품 가게 앞에서 제 고양이가 생각났었는데, 그래서 꿈꿨나 봐요. 
I felt relieved because it looked fine in the dream, but I soon realized differently. 
꿈에서 봤을 때, 괜찮아 보여서 안심했었는데, 이내 깨달았어요. 
I didn’t give it up for adoption; I abandoned it. 
난 고양이를 입양 보낸게 아니라 버린 거라는 걸요. 
It crossed my mind it was like a child who lost his/her mother. crossed my mind. 
엄마 잃은 아이가 떠올랐어요. 
Missing its mom, in an unfamiliar place…. 
엄마가 그립고, 낯설고, 
How anxious it must have been… 
얼마나 당황스러웠을까…… 
It couldn’t understand my situation. 
고양이는 내 상황을 이해할 수 있는 게 아닌데, 
I felt very sad and sorry a lot for my cat. 
슬펐고, 고양이한테 많이 미안했어요. 
Sorry.
