COP21 and Charcoal. Human progress can´t be explained without charcoal, this compound has been used in many industrial process. For instance, we can't understand the Industrial Revolution without the charcoal; factories, trains and houses used it to drive the social and economic progress. Today it's different -in a lot of countries, charcoal has been replaced by others compounds less pollutant. Oil and gas have replaced charcoal and bit by bit all countries have decided to eliminate charcoal of their industries and their energy generation sources. Nowadays, it's very known that many countries have decided to use charcoal to improve their industries. China, India and other countries use it to propel their economies and I think that they are right, industrialized countries have used charcoal for a lot of time and now, they are the main force to eliminate this compound of world economy but they forget that for a lot of time their used it. This week, governments have signed many projects on COP21 but we need to understand that it's difficult to define a same way to improve our ambient. Mexican government has signed and designed a new tax to avoid the use of charcoal but I'm sure that some countries won't sing the agreement. The logic it's very easy, they think that other countries have decided after to use charcoal and now they need to avoid to give one opinion. I think something similar, developing countries are right but developed countries too, an interesting problem. Saludos desde México.

COP21 and Charcoal.

Human progress can´t be explained without charcoal, this compound has been used in many industrial processes. For instance, we can't understand what the Industrial Revolution would have been like without the charcoal; factories, trains and houses used it to drive the social and economic progress.

Today it's different -in a lot of countries, charcoal has been replaced by others compounds less pollutant. Oil and gas have replaced charcoal and bit by bit all countries have decided to eliminate charcoal from their industries and their energy generation sources.

Nowadays, it's very well known that many countries have decided to use charcoal to improve their industries. China, India and other countries use it to propel their economies and I think that they are right to do so, industrialized countries have used charcoal for a long time and now, they are the main force to eliminate this compound from the world economy but they forget that for a long period of time they used it.

This week, governments have signed up to many projects on COP21 but we need to understand that it's difficult to define a safe way to improve our ambient. The Mexican government has signed up to and designed a new tax to avoid the use of charcoal but I'm sure that some countries won't sign up to the agreement.

The logic is very easy, they think that other countries have decided after to use charcoal and now they need to avoid to giving an opinion. I think something similar, developing countries are right but so are developed countries too, an interesting problem.

I would change Charcoal to Coal, but maybe in other countries they may prefer the word Charcoal rather than Coal.

Kind regards
