In order to know what love was like, Danielle decided to try it before she got older. Followed by the death of two of her husbands, whom were both killed by her, Clay was her third try.
At Tulane, Clay met Paul, who had attended Catholic school to work as a professor. Then they became partners and made plans for their company, P & C Drilling Equipment. One day, Paul’s son, Jason, killed his father because he didn’t want to obey him. However, Clay was convicted of murder and put into prison by mistake. Danielle knew about Clay on TV and kept thinking about him. So she sent a letter to Clay and heard from him. Soon their correspondence became regular. With each letter, she felt the passion she longed for and decided to follow her heart. She drove to prison and they met each other for the first time. Having seen Clay, Danielle realized that she fell in love with him and was determined to help him. With the help Danielle, Clay was set free after Jason had confessed the murder.
Soon, Danielle and Clay flew to Las Vegas, where they quickly got married and had their honeymoon. At first, they lived sweetly with each other. But by the third month, Danielle lost the passion she had for Clay. Instead, she found the passion again on TV for a man, who was arrested because of murdering his wife. So she planned to kill Clay and have her fourth try.
