Yar: cliff or scarp

Yâr:Love,Friend and Helper n. (Persian origin word)

Yâr yolunda canın veren aşıklar ( The lovers who do sacrifice in way of the love)

Allah'tan başka yârim yoktur ( I have no helper except Allah )

â: It's not Turkish letter and It is also used to indicate /aː/ in words where the long vowel changes the meaning of non Turkish (Arabic and persian origin) words

for example: The different in the pronunciation of these two words ; Kar (Snow) and Kâr (Profit)
