First notebook entry: Introducing myself

Namaste! Mere naame Meg hai. Mein thodi bahot hindi samajhti hu. Mein hindustani nahin hoon, magar mera dil hindustani hai! :)

That's about all I can put together into sentences. I know enough food vocabulary to follow a recipe or order a meal and be mostly confident at what I'm getting. A handful of other random words, some of which are courtesy of my friends, and they will not be repeated. ;) Others mostly picked up from old hindi movies and songs.

Namaste! Mera naam Meg hai. Mein Hindi samajhti ho lekin bahut thoda thoda. Mein hindustani nahin hoon, magar mera dil Hindustani hai! :)
