First notebook entry: Introducing myself

I am wanting to learn Yoruba because I feel it is a language that I would really enjoy learning. I do have friends who speak Yoruba and would like to impress them by showing them that I too can learn and communicate with them. Though they do not have the time to teach me I am looking for people who are willing to take the time to communicate with me. I have been to Nigeria several times and feel that I should now be able to master the language.
