Your favorite films of your country

What are your favorite films of your country?

In Italy, we have a lot of good films. I can't say what is my favourite; i can only mention some titles such as "Satirycon", "Amarcord", "La dolce vita" by Federico Fellini, "Salò o le 120 giornate di Sodoma", "Edipo Re", "il Vangelo secondo Matteo" by Pier Paolo Pasolini, "Blow up" by Michelangelo Antonioni.
But I regret i can't remember a good italian movie in the last 30 years.

....I love all these films that you mencioned... But one of my favourite movie of all time is Ladri di biciclette, by De Sica.  Of the recent italian films I've seen (truly, have not been many), i have liked Le Conseguenze dell'Amore by Paolo Sorrentino and Keys of Home (i don't know the italian title), by Gianni Amelio

Yes, a good film... i agree.

I haven't seen these films  yet. Someone told me good things about the latter ("Le chiavi di casa") but i guess  it's so far to be a masterpiece like those in the past.

The latest one is El Secreto De Sus Ojos. This film won the Oscar as the best foreigner film this year.
