What do you think about learning many languages in a time?

I agree.  I can't learn too many languages at 1 time, otherwise they get all jumbled together in my head.  When I try to speak 1, I end up speaking the other.  :(  Therefore, I have a lot of respect for people who can seemingly effortlessly switch between multiple foreign languages.  I've decided for me its better to spend different periods of my life learning different languages, early years Spanish, now Chinese, and we'll see what comes next. 

There are theories that if you build up the language learning 'hardware' in your brain, especially from a young age, that its easier to learn multiple languages simultaneously, like adding the 'software' onto the 'hardware' in your brain.
