I could use some chat time

I just signed up on this site and saw your post.  I'm learning through Rosetta Stone as well. Though i'm very much a beginner. I'm to "locations".....neko wa teburu no ue ni imasu! (^_^)  hehe!
   I'm at the intimidating stage, where i'm realizing that at some point, i'll have to actually speak the language in real life situations/conversation.Hehe! Especially if i want to get a grasp on the language. Unfortunately, i don't know many people who speak japanese AND want to talk about 'how many chairs there are in the kitchen'....lol :-P
  I noticed it's been a little while since you posted this discussion. If you've had any chance to converse in real world conversation, could perhaps give me any advice?
  Being a Rosetta Stone user, i figure, you'll have an idea of where i'm coming from.
