Are there any similar things between Russia and Germany?  what do you think?  maybe in people, in the country, in special spirit or something else...

На самом деле не так мало, как кажется. Особенно это заметно в Восточной Германии - психология людей, стереотипы поведения (в особенности это касается людей старшего поколения) очень похожи на отечетсвенные (советские)

 We both have the different genders (masculine, feminine, neutral) when we talk about inanimate things and animals. We also both have the different address when we talk to close friends, children or respectful and old people. So-called “siezen” “duzen”  As for people, customs or habits I think that Russia and Germany are quite different.

Галстук sounds like Halstuch and means cravat.

my advice for an englisch native speaker, let they try to read germans alfabet first, and only after that  let they beginn to read russian alfabet
