Humanilism or racism ?

Georgia

I had a very interesting conversation about this issue with a good friend, a few days ago.
I hane many friends who because of the political status in their country...don't "sympathize" other nations.
The point is do u continue living a life full of hate for your "enemies" and that has got to do with them or you give your energy to help things settle down?
Does it really worth to have a world where children have no place to run or a world where people have no fear in their hearts?
I would really like to see what do you, my crazy friends, believe about that!!

I think people are naturally inclined to care about their own country and not care about other countries. They don't want to see other countries better than their own.  We should understand about the world more and care more about, not only of our own country, but to other countries also. At the same time, sometimes you can't really help it because the media is all filtered to make one country look better and the other countries look worse than it actually is.  People shouldn't pay too much attention to the media and research the real source themselves and find out the truth. We all live in the same world, there shouldn't be racism. There shouldn't be categorized in terms of race, but to depict ourselves as HUMAN RACE.

The problem with the human race is the globalisation process we're in. Not so long ago it was very hard for people with very different ideas to meet eachother. When it happened wars immediately followed. Remember the crusades and the invasions of muslims into Europe. Then there are the wars between Spanish and Aztecs/Mayans. Every time when different people came into contact there were heated arguments but in those times it happened just every now and then.

These days we're all in contact with eachother over the internet. Some people thought it might help to melt all nations into one, but the opposite is happening. There has never been more hate and anger among the citizens of earth. People try to "convert" eachother all the time and use harsh methods to do so. Income inequality has led to uproar as well. Basically the world is rotten at the moment and it will take hundreds of years before it will settle down. It's sad but nationalism, religious dogma and discrimination are at its peak right now. We may think that we're better than the humans who lived 2000 BC but reality is that we are worse.

I am getting really sad when I think that just because of the globalisation progress nothing much left to do to change or better prevent this world from the being destroyed!!
I really cannot think myself as a part of  a "glodal maschine"  where my "duty" is to help this maschine work well!!!
I think that we can be individuals, with our own opinions, and at the same time members of wider societies. On the bottom line, we created the media and the governments how can we allow them decide about our future?
On the other hand, I don't understand why a society has to prove to another that they are better!!! History hasn't teached us anything at all??? We didn't learn anyhting from all these wars and killings?

I wish, I had an aswer about this...but I believe that our future is in our hands!!
I  think that we can make a safe world where racism and discrimination of every kind will no longer exist!!!
