TIPS FOR CHOOSING A TEACHEROur advice is to message the teacher before the first session and see if they have experience with children.
One of the great benefits of using italki, is that you can experiment with different teachers. We actually recommend students to take a few sessions with different teachers to experience different teaching styles. Most students try TWO to FOUR teachers before choosing a long-term teacher that fits their learning needs. After experimenting with different teachers, the student actually feels more confident to learn a language with their selected teacher.
