Hey, how's it going? My name's Carla, and I'm a native Brazilian Portuguese tutor here on italki (in addition to being a lawyer in Brazil)! I was also a writing tutor and a law tutor during college, so teaching and dealing with the Portuguese language isn't something new for me. I was already an exchange student in Canada and I speak English, I understand a little Spanish, and I'm focused on French now, but I was also a beginner student of German, and I know how the process of learning a new language is and that's why I can help you best. Carla is an excellent conversation tutor! She can always figure out what the heck you are trying to say, even when you've long since forgotten what the jumbled mess of Portuguese coming out of your mouth was even supposed to be communicating. She provides lots of feedback on errors and words you don't know, but the conversation does not stop and you don't feel bad for making a mistake.
I would highly recommend her as a conversation tutor! Run, don't walk, to book a lesson with her!
