Chances are, that if you`re looking at this page right now, you`ve thought at one point in your life "man, it would be fun to learn Romanian - but how?". It sure looks like an incredible task because in Romanian there are those weird letters(ă, â, î, ş, ţ) that are hard to pronounce. And when do you use them? And how?
If you want to learn Romanian, here are some ideas that can push you in the right direction.
First off: 1.
Romanian is a Latin language. That means that it is similar with Spanish, Italian and even French. If you are learning one of those languages, it will be easier for you to speak Romanian fluently. (As a little story: I am currently learning French and every time I don`t remember how to say something in French I think about its equivalent in Romanian - it`s a lot easier!)
2.
Romania is a beautiful country and has a beautiful culture & history. Wouldn`t it be great if you could understand it all without the need of a translator?
3. You know the "
Numa numa song", right? I bet you are not sure what those words really mean. Find out now by learning Romanian!
