There are particles in Indonesian language which influenced by other languages (mostly same as in English, taken from Latin). These particles tend to be used for formal purposes (writing purposes).

nara- ==========person (narator,narasumber) = narrator, informant
pan- ==========all, whole (pan-Afrikanisme)
purna- ==========after (purnakarya) = condition after work/resign/pension
in- ==========not,non (inkonvensional)
bi- ==========two (bikarbonat)
maha- ==========very, big (mahasiswa,mahaguru) = university student, professor/expert
