This is a list of free tools I am building to help students of Mandarin expand their vocabulary.
Pleco Software - Chinese Dictionaries for iPhone, iPad, and Android The full version of Pleco costs money, but there is a free version that seems to be the best dictionary for iPhone.
Cidianreader - Translate Mandarin Chinese to English Cidianreader is a lightweight fast context reader for Windows where you can get the meaning of a word, phrase, or sentence by selecting it with the mouse. Similar to MDBG but free.
