Edit Usage of Near Future
This tense is used to speak about something happening in the very near future, as an alternative to either the compound past(passe compose) or the simple past(passe simple).
Edit Formation of the Near Future
This tense uses a combination of the verb to go (aller) in its present indicative form appropriate to the subject followed by the infinitive of the verb that will be done.
- Je vais faire du shopping. I will go shopping, I am going shopping. (I am going to do the shopping.)
- Nous allons jouer au foot. We will play soccer.
