    actually it's yoji, not yonji (4 o'clock)
    If you mean 4 hours (long), it's yojikan

    actually you can use yon instead of shi whenever you like, but yon is more used, being obligatory when telling the time, like in 四時(よんじ). However, when saying months... you use shi --> April is Shigatsu(四月), and not yongatsu. Because shi has the same pronunciation of 死 , death, yon is more used nowadays for other things.
    It's important to notice however, that you don't use "ichi, ni, san, shi/yon, go, roku, etc..." for counting things, days or objects, BUT the japanese reading of them. As for general objects and things you use hitotsu, futatsu, mittsu, yottsu, itsutsu, muttsu, nanatsu, yattsu, kokonotsu, too (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10).

    We never use nana (7) for telling time instead we use shishi (7) like " Ima wa shishi ji desu " but we can use nana for other puposes like " nana juk kiro " ( 70 kilometers) or "nana en desu"(This is 7 yen).Inshort you need practice for using both 7 ( shishi & nana) Thats what i think.

    blue could be ao or aoi...

    aoi is used as adjective
    example:
    aoi sora (blue sky)

    and ao, as a noun..
