neither you nor I can go there= nem eu,nem você podemos ir lá

Neither Jennifer nor Katherine was able to attend the party last week= nem Jennifer nem Ktherine puderam comparecer a festa na semana passada.

neither him nor my friends are here= nem ele,nem meus amigos estão aqui (quando a palavra antes do verbo está no plural o verbo também tem que ser conjugado no plural).



3- either...either= ou....ou

I lost it either at school or on my way home= eu o perdi ou na escola,ou no caminho para casa
