Russian was the official language of the Soviet Union, and remains the official language of Russia. Russian is also an official language in former Soviet countries such as Belarus and Kazakhstan, and it is an official language of the United Nations.

  Russian Language can be very easy if you use appropriate metod of study. The choice of most of my friends learining Russian is RussianEasy Lessons  - they are very effective, easy and funny! :-P  You can download them here - www.russianeasy.com. There is also Podcast and Forum where you can find a friends to talk by Skype :D
