I have just read the latest news on http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england/8660889.stm

The first of 250 life-sized baby elephant models, hand-painted by famous artists and designers, have begun to arrive in locations across London.
The works are in aid of the Elephant Family charity and are expected to raise £1 million when later auctioned.

I saw one of these today on the Embankment, close to Parliament Square!
